[Record Post] Vast Jungle (batch 7) | s470 RoP - Rise of the Phoenix

text (11)

Hey everyone, Jenn here from s470’s RoP - Rise of the Phoenix, thrilled to update you on our next journey. Let’s dive into this exciting new chapter together!

After considering our options for the next event—Lost Island and the Vast Jungle—we’ve chosen to explore another journey through the Vast Jungle.

We’ve successfully registered for the Race of Champions - Vast Jungle and are thrilled to participate in the event with the latest updates to this jungle version.

Ready for challenges, we’ve chosen the Red Camp—The Golden Acorn Camp—as our preferred Camp.

Welcoming New Players

After the server merge of s301-550, this is our first time opening csc. We’ve welcomed many new players as well as old friends from our previous servers and events. Together, we’ve built a strong team, eager to take on challenges and succeed in our upcoming battles.

Jungle Preparation

In preparation for the upcoming event, we asked our members to save resources, speedups, teleports and diamonds as much as possible before we enter into the event.

We utilized the War of Kings event that happens every week as an opportunity to farm more speedups easily with the help of our allies who were also on the server.

Tip:How farming speedups on the squirters work?

So basically, the more ants you heal, the more speedups you gain. So what you wanna do is injure your ants on purpose when fighting on squirters during War of Kings event.
One can achieve that by doing the following:

1. Mismatching troops
2. Deactivating the cell, gene and germs on the Mutation Flora
3. Removing all the buffs in the Soldier Reform Pool
4. Use unenhanced soldier ants

Mismatching Troops

For example: you can use a carrier insect with guardian ants and shooter soldier ants or vice versa.

Deactivate Mutation Flora

Deactivating each cell, gene and germ in your Mutation Flora removes the buffs provided and hence makes you weak allowing you to have more injured ants.

Soldier Reform Pool

Remove each buff for Guardian Ants, Shooter Ants and Carrier Ants in the Soldiers Reform Pool.

Unenhanced Soldier Ants

Using unenhanced soldier ants while fighting on squirters for speedups uses less resources when healing the ants compared to enhanced ones. So its best to use unenhanced ants.

Points to remember:

* The person stationing their troops on the squirter does not need to remove all the buffs or mismatch troops. They should have their full power
* Heal your ants as they get injured don’t let the healing pools overflow which will result in loss of ants

* You get speedups double of what you’ve used to heal your ants once War of kings event is done

Stay tuned to hear about our matchmaking…

Matchmaking Period

Our sign up for the Vast Jungle was successful, and we are currently in the matchmaking period.

Matchmaking ends in a few days, and we are excited to find out which camp we will be assigned to, who our allies will be, and who our opponents will be.

Matchmaking

We got matched with a 2vs3 with difficulty level IV and we got to be part of the Golden Acorn Camp, the camp we opted for. We are excited to see how the Jungle is after all the new updates.

GOLDEN ACORN CAMP

We got to be allies for the second time with SVH. We met them for the first time on our 5th Barren Land event. They are really amazing people who love to fight and never give up. We are so glad to be working with them once again we make a great team. And whats even more interesting is that we get to work with @Blitzkrieg who is also an Observer and a great friend who helped me a lot in my Observer journey. This will be an interesting event.

SNOWY CEDAR CAMP

The Snowy Cedar Camp had AAA, HEA and H2K. They appear to be highly competitive clans with many strong players. I’m really excited to play with them!

Selection Period

(camp leader, protection time & homezone

CAMP LEADER

After discussions with SVH, they suggested that we take on the Camp Leadership this season, as they had taken the lead in our previous event together.

Congratulations on being selected for Camp Leadership, Diego! I’m confident you will lead us to great achievements.

Protection Timing

Our camp the Golden Acorn Camp we chose 08:00-16:00 UTC as our protection period. The Snowy Cedar Camp chose the same time too. So we get to have 16 hours of action this season.

HOMEZONE

From the Golden Acorn Camp, we RoP opted for Lizard Wetland and SVH for Snail Pit Fairyland.

In the Snowy Cedar Camp, AAA went for the region next to SVH the Snowy Peak region and next to us we had HEA in the Highland of Fir Forest region and H2K in the Juniper Mount region.

The Jungle - Week 1

We’ve just landed on our next adventure - the ‘Vast Jungle’. We were delighted to meet our allies SVH once again. Many familiar faces from Snowy Cedar Camp greeted us warmly, and our members were thrilled to reconnect after a long time.

One thing I love about these events is how they bring us together, allowing us to make new friends and reunite with old ones.

Our Week 1 kicks off with intense preparations. It’s all about gearing up for the thrilling battles that lie ahead in the coming weeks.

As always, we motivate our members in RoP to increase their honor because the higher the honor, the more the season soldier ants and the more healing fungi one gets to heal their injured ants during battles.

One can increase their honor by doing the following:

* Taking higher level nodes
* Enhancing buildings
* And also by completing your season & camp achievements where you can claim season ants once completed

Buildings and Strategies.

Since we got matched in a 2vs3, we had an unclaimed clash area the “Bird Stream” area. After discussing with SVH, we decided to split ourselves between the Bird Stream area and the Land of Abundance. so we could grab as much buildings and their buffs as possible. We RoP focused on the Bird Stream area and SVH the Land of Abundance.

We made it a priority to get the wonder on our home zone and then the wonder on the other unclaimed clash area.
SVH went for the wonder on their home zone too and then for the Tree of Abundance in the Land of Abundance to get our camp the buffs and season ants asap.

Our member suggested a good strategy and we discussed about it with SVH and agreed to taking the residence on each others home zone that was near the tunnel so we could teleport easily when fighting and help each other defend whenever needed.

Capturing Buildings (Lair/Residence/Wonder/Tree)

In RoP we always try to ensure more people get rewarded and that it’s not just one or two players when at home zone.

We follow the T1/T2 rule for buildings that are below level 7.
We mark rally spots and for low level buildings the ralliers are asked to ensure everyone sends just t1/t2 ants for the first round alone else kick their troop from the rally and let them know they got the wrong ants in.
We also ask our ralliers to untick depart once full to give them time to check if everyone has the right ants sent.
Once first round is done, everyone is allowed to send full troops.

The Benefits

The above image shows the difference between us and another clan while capturing a low lvl building (lair lvl 5).
One can observe in RoP 10 people are on the ranking for rewards for defeating stationed troops whereas on the other clan just the rally runner got rewarded for defeating stationed troops.

Birds-Eye View of each Zone

Given above is an image showing the tower paths towards each buildings in the initial zone, unclaimed zone and the land of abundance of the Golden Acorn Camp.

The Jungle - Week 2

Week 2 in the jungle. We now have the campsites on each clash open and the clay cost to build a tower has increased to 4000.

We decided to split the two clashes such a way that we could help each other when needed.

We RoP went for the wonder in the Bear Domain clash and SVH for the one in the Antler Forest. One of our member suggested an amazing strategy which would help during fights, so the clan that occupies the wonder would leave all the residence of that clash to the other clan so one could teleport easily and not be confined to a small place.

In the Snowy Cedar Camp, AAA took the wonder in the Shade Trees Land clash, HEA took the clash near their homezone the Glacial Lake clash and H2K two wonders one in the Violet Gorge region and another in the Withering Woodland region.

In the first few days when campsite opened, we tried to grab as much buffs as possible before the fights could begin. The paths to each buildings on the clashes for the Golden Acorn Camp was too far compared to the ones the Snowy Cedar Camp had.

When the lvl 7 tunnels bonus dropped, HEA started making their way to the Antler Forest clash, the clash we RoP were focusing on grabbing buffs from. They were either trying to pick up a fight by taking the residence or lair that we were building to that was also kinda close to them. We reached to them and grabbed them quickly and began pushing HEA back to their clash.

What we realized kinda late was that the Snowy Cedar Camp had buffs that was advantageous to them on their clashes and we had buffs on our clashes which was advantageous to us. Even though HEA had buffs we beat them and pushed them a lot inside their zone.

Seeing HEA struggle their ally AAA who was engaging with SVH on the other clash hopped in and started building through the campsite to assist them. We decided to wait for them to join the party and beat them with the buff we had.

We fought both HEA and AAA for nearly 5 hours in this region. When they gave up we made a move to go for the residence and wonder HEA had claimed here.

On the other side SVH fought AAA on the Bear Domain clash and pushed them back to their homezone. To distract them, HEA started attacking our homezone where SVH was built to at. They managed to handle both of them at the same so well.

With this our week 2 was done. Campsites close with the next milestone and the clash areas no longer provide buffs in battles for both camps. Also the tower build and destroy speed buff the Snowy Cedar Camp gets open with the next weeks milestone, we are really excited to see how things would go.

The Jungle - Week 3

Week 3 is here—yay! Things have been going smoothly so far. Let’s see what’s happening on Jenn’s season, shall we?

So our week started with a small battle with H2K on our homezone, while we were making our way to HEA’s wonder.

H2K participated in fights only on week 3 compared to the other two clans. They started making their way into our homezone when we were aiming to reach for HEA’s wonder. We destroyed their towers and pushed them back into their homezone.

We continued building from the residence towards the wonder. HEA pulled up a very smart strategy to make us waste clay and make our build to the wonder hard, they built lots of towers around the wonder and kept porting on the places we were gonna place our next tower at. So we had to do the same and port to our next spot immediately before they could.

We are not sure what happened or if it’s one of H2K’s strategy, they removed all the towers connected to all their buildings in their homezone and on their clash area. SVH took this as an opportunity to make a move on their buildings. Seeing this AAA stopped engaging with us RoP and started building through the tower they had placed on that clash before the campsites closed to help H2K.

With limited porting ability, fighting two clans at the same time and the tower buff milestone to open in a few days, SVH decided to wait on the idea of getting buildings there.

H2K started building to our wonder in Bear Domain clash and AAA started pushing through SVH’s towers also making their way to the wonder on that clash. We decided to leave our plan of taking HEA’s wonder and protect what belongs to us first. HEA took this as an opportunity to wipe few of our towers off that we built aiming their wonder.

We built from the wonder to the ferry below and prepared ourselves to fight H2K who was making their way to us. SVH was fighting AAA and also building towards the ferry to help protect the wonder and also help fight H2K. Compared to the other two clans from the Snowy Cedar Camp, though H2K had the fewest members they were all strong and active. After hours of fighting H2K they gave up and AAA on the other side gave up fighting SVH too. We managed to protect our wonder.

HEA did a tower transfer on their homezone near the tunnel that leads to Antler Forest clash area of ours. They haven’t made a move so far over there.

The increase in tower destroy and build speed buff the Snowy Cedar Camp gets in the homezones of Golden Acorn Camp and on the land of abundance just hit at reset today.

In the initial place aka homezone for Snowy Cedar Camp they take about 10 minutes to build so after this milestone they can build and destroy in 15minutes on our homezones and on the land of clash.

HEA was the first to break into our homezone. We managed to destroy their towers and push them back.

That’s all for week 3, we shall see what happens next on my coming post.

The Jungle - Week 4

Week 4!! The crazy blue camp buff was unlocked. On my previous post we saw HEA was the first to step in to the clash area when the buff was unlocked. What happened after? Was the Golden Acorn Camp able to hold the Snowy Cedar Camp back? Let’s see what happened…

Currently it was just HEA and H2K that made it into our clash area. AAA was busy fighting SVH on their homezone at the tunnel.

We RoP were fighting both HEA and H2K and I must admit the speed buff Snowy Cedar Camps got is kinda crazy especially with it being a 2vs3 event. We first decided to defend against HEA until SVH could touch them as the path HEA got was closer to our wonder. We defended HEA for awhile then switched to defend and prevent H2K from advancing.

SVH built to help us with HEA as most of us were exhausted fighting two clans at the same time for days. SVH pushed HEA alot back. They also offered to help fight H2K and started building towers from the tower on the right side were we had done a tower transfer in week 2. We did our best to defend H2K but they advanced a lot into our clash area.

AAA stopped attacking SVHs homezone and started building to the clash HEA and H2K were fighting us on. They reached the tunnel to the clash the next day.

We decided to remove HEA and AAA from the clash first as their path was the closest to the wonder. So we fought them everyday from 16:00-22:00 UTC then pushed them back to the tunnel when they gave up. They were again active around 06:00 UTC and started building back. H2K saw this and stopped advancing to the north and took the other tunnel they were connected to come help AAA.

SVH came up with a smart plan and built along us and towards H2K who was building this way to push us along with AAA . We RoP were defending against AAA to prevent them from reaching SVH or H2K.

In the meanwhile when us RoP were busy with AAA and SVH with H2K, HEA was freely building and destroying towers and AAA was silenty building to our wonder in Bear Domain clash while also fighting us on this clash. AAA stopped attacking on this clash and went to the top clash to reach wonder. We then went to deal with HEA who was about to touch a lair and destroyed their towers. SVH helped take care of them when we were preparing for the fight at the other clash wonder. HEA stopped building or defending they probably were out of clay.

SVH did really amazing and fought H2K for hours and hours and pushed them a lot back. H2K slowly defending as they must be out of stamina and fungi.

AAA were one tower away from touching wonder and that tower was nearly done. We at first attacked it a little and then decided to let them come at us at the wonder.

We called all our members and reinforced the wonder. AAA were playing with us by sending empty rallies with just a single t1/2. They were also streaming the whole thing online. We kinda got to know their plans watching their stream. So we followed along and waited as they planned on attacking around 21:00 UTC this wait also helped us recover stamina and fungi for the fight later.

It was past 21:00 UTC and they still didnt attack maybe they were waiting for their members to come online. We decided to attack their tower and they started defending that for about 6-8 mins. They later got into place and started rallying the wonder so we got back and reinforced the wonder once again. We were able to defend the wonder successfully the attacks lasted for nearly an hour. We then went for their towers and pushed them far away from the wonder. This victory will always be one of our most memorable moments on this jungle.

We then continued to push HEA out of the other clash while SVH was pushing H2K . A lot happened on this day and our camp has been very successful and made a great progress in pushing all 3. The defeat of AAA kinda made the other camp loose hope.

The next day SVH and us had planned that they continue pushing H2K and we RoP completely push HEA out and then engage with H2K from the north towards the south but to our surprise none of them came to defend or build. They started building to unclaimed buildings on the other clashes. We thought they wanted to gain more buffs and then push us once again.

And once us RoP were done with HEA we went to the north to push H2K. They didnt come to defend against us as well and they removed all their towers on this clash so we could claim the buildings back easily. We heard the Snowy Cedar Camp gave up.

We took back all the buildings. This week came to an end. It was a very crazy week and we all fought for hours but all our hardwork and sacrifices brought us this success.

We still got 2 weeks left for the event to end and anything could happen. We kept an eye on them.

The Jungle - Week 5

It’s week 5, and our time in the jungle is about to come to an end very soon sadly.
Lastly we took back all the buildings on our homezone that H2K had taken from us.

The Snowy Cedar Camp continued building to unclaimed buildings on all clashes for the rewards. With nothing much left to do we RoP grabbed some unclaimed buildings for the rewards as well.

While also building to unclaimed buildings, HEA was silently making their way to our wonder at the Bear Domain Zone. We had an eye on them.

SVH decided to build to H2Ks wonder in Violet Gorge Region.

SVH also took some of the buildings claimed by AAA and H2K that were on their way to when aiming for H2Ks wonder.
They fought H2K for a long time and took their wonder.

The next day AAA did a tower transfer to H2K on their homezone that was close to the tunnel between them and SVH. Not sure if it was just for picking up some points fighting or if they planned on giving one final shot for the tree. We RoP had few towers on SVH homezone to help defend just in case something like this happens so we built to the tunnel and also built to the tunnel on our homezone through which HEA could possibly push. So far it was just small battles with AAA on the tunnel. H2K didnt build towards the tunnel.

On the other side, HEA were getting closer to our wonder on the Bear Domain Region.

We decided to build to them and we were able to defend our towers and destroy theirs and push them far away from the wonder. AAA tried to help HEA by silently making their way to our wonder from the behind but we had an eye on them as well and when they got closer we destroyed their towers as well.

After successfully defending our wonder for the second time, we decided to go for HEAs wonder in Glacial Lake Region.

We already had few towers in HEAs clash so we started building towards their wonder. HEA tried to stop us by spamming the wonder with many towers and fighting us on the towers that were touching theirs. We were able destroy all of those and take their wonder. AAA once again tried to distract us by trying to change our focus but we were able to defenf both of them.

With this our week 5 on the jungle came to an end. Weve got few more days left before we return home.

The Jungle - Week 6 (final week)

T’was the final few days in the jungle before we packed our bags to head home. We had an amazing time in the jungle with the best allies in the game and competitive opponents who made our adventure truly epic.

With nothing much left to do us RoP were just grabbing some buildings and having some friendly battles with the Snowy Cedar Camp.

SVH went for the other wonder H2K had on the Withering Woodland clash.

It was a long way to the wonder. AAA tried blocking the path by spamming with towers on the crossings towards the wonder. SVH was able to defeat them and also remove all the towers from their way to the wonder.
They then made their way to the wonder and took H2Ks wonder successfully.

We RoP weren’t paying much attention to the Glacial Lake clash were we took HEA’s wonder as it was almost the end of the event. HEA took this as an opportunity to give one shot on taking their wonder back. AAA tried to help them by distracting us a little bit by trying to take the residence we took from them back.

Luckily they were spotted when they started their attacks on the wonder and we were able to summon all our people on time and protect both the wonder and the residence from both clans.
