[Record Post] Surreal Wetland (Batch 1) | s470 Rise of the Phoenix

Cool-Text-472564736408540

Hey everyone, Jenn here from s470’s RoP - Rise of the Phoenix, thrilled to update you on our next adventure. Let’s dive into this exciting new chapter together!

Discovering of Surreal Wetland

There has been a lot of discussion about the new event based on all the updates that Fairy has been providing us.

We’ve had countless discussions among ourselves, speculating on what the upcoming event could entail, as well as how the map and gameplay might look. Everyone is so excited to tackle new challenges and to collect new ants in this fresh season. The anticipation is palpable, and it’s fueling our enthusiasm even further. We can’t wait to see what surprises await us!

Season Registration

We’ve successfully registered for the Race of Champions - Surreal Wetland beta and are incredibly excited!

Welcoming New Players

We’ve welcomed many new players and friends since CSC opened, and I’m thrilled to have my amazing friend Loid from the staff team with us. It’s also great to have my friends Salty and Delicious Poison, with whom we were allies in our past events not once but four times. This event is going to be extremely exciting because we will be playing alongside our friends, and together we’re sure to create unforgettable memories.

Season Preparation

As always, we begin preparing for our next event the moment we return home from our previous one. We focus on saving resources, teleports, speedups, and diamonds…

During the War of Kings event, we farmed speedups from the squirters alongside our allies and alternate clan.

The more ants you heal while fighting on the squirter during the War of Kings, the more speedups you will receive—double the amount of speedups you used—once the tree is captured or the War of Kings is over.

Given below is a link from my previous post on how one can farm speedups during War of Kings when on server.

:link: Farming Speedups

Christmas is here, and we had a fantastic time celebrating with a variety of fun events in the game! Everyone enjoyed the festive atmosphere as we completed tasks to earn exciting rewards.

Whether one was collecting items, completing challenges, or simply enjoying the festive environment, we certainly had a fantastic time! I feel extremely grateful to celebrate this joyous season with the family I have in RoP.

Every event brought us closer together, reminding us of the importance of cherishing our loved ones during this magical time of year. Here’s to making even more beautiful memories together!

Matchmaking Period

The sign-up for Surreal Wetland was successful, and we are currently in the matchmaking period.

We are excited to see how matchmaking will change after the new update, where everyone will only be able to register for events on designated dates. If a clan misses these dates, they will have to wait until everyone is back to participate again. This approach should provide a wider range of clans to match with!

Matchmaking Results

We got a level V difficulty match and got to be part of the Fertile Camp.

We are allies with TBR and Atp, who are truly wonderful people, and we are excited to work alongside them on this event.

At the Verdant Camp we have AvA, FAR and CSX. We previously played against some of the people now in AvA during one of our Vast Jungle events, and we were allies with a few members currently in CSX during a past Barren Land event. We were pleasantly surprised and delighted to see them again.

I’m truly eager to see how this event unfolds. The preparation and energy everyone has put into it are incredible, and I’m confident it will be a memorable experience for all involved. Events like these bring us closer together, and I’m looking forward to the fun moments we’ll share.

Selection Period

(camp leader, protection time & homezone)

CAMP LEADER

This season, Alex from TBR will be leading our camp. We’re ready to compete and give it our all, with one goal in mind: winning. We’re excited to see what we can achieve together this season.

The camp leader this season, in addition to having the ability to choose protection time and send camp mail, also has the power to demolish towers, as well as discard ferries and tunnels, within the same camp.

PROTECTION TIME

One thing I must praise the devs for is taking the initiative to improve matchmaking by pairing us with allies and opponents who have similar active times as us.

We, the Fertile Camp, have chosen 00:00-08:00 UTC for our protection period for this season, while the Verdant Camp has selected 08:00-16:00 UTC for theirs. This means we have 8 hours of battle time against each other.

HOMEZONE

We, RoP, have chosen Hollow Hill for our home zone, Atp has chosen Solitary Grove, and TBR has selected the Scarlet Realm.

From the Verdant Camp , AvA has chosen Verdant Woods, FAR went with Emerald Domain, and CSX picked Old Fern Ridge, for their home zones.

We’re all set and can’t wait to see what new adventures this season has in store for us.

Wetland - Week 1 (Exploration)

We’ve finally made it to our destination—the brand-new, unexplored wetland! As soon as we arrived, we unpacked our luggages and jumped straight into exploring the area. It didn’t take long for us to meet new friends, both teammates and rivals, all while keeping our mission front and center: “To win, have fun, and make unforgettable memories on this vacay.”

But things took an unexpected turn when we encountered “The Infected Ants.” These relentless creatures started conquering the map just as we were settling in. We were both amazed and slightly intimidated watching them swarm and take over territories, including some of ours. It’s safe to say the competition just got a whole lot more interesting!

There are a total of 12 Infected Ant Clans that have taken over every region on the map. These clans are highly aggressive and have spread their influence rapidly, leaving no territory untouched.

The Infected Ants came in three types: Normal, Elite, and Boss. Each type had its own unique anthill design and level of strength, making them a fascinating yet formidable challenge to face.

The Infected Ants began guarding the fortresses they had occupied. Each fortress on different regions had different supply level (:mushroom: I, II, III), depending on its difficulty.

Each building has multiple supply ranges: Far, Medium, and Near.

In order to make the Infected Ants consume all their supplies from the fortress, the team must exhaust them, as each march from their side depletes their supplies.

And that’s the basic gameplay of the Infected Ants, based on our Week 1 observations.

Keeping all of this in mind, we started preparing ourselves. And as always, we reminded everyone in RoP to focus on their honor. Greater the honor the more the season soldier ants to fight and the more healing fungi one gets to heal their injured ants.

You can increase your honor by doing the following:

* Capturing higher-level nodes
* Enhancing buildings
* Completing season and camp achievements, which reward you with seasonal ants upon completion

Looking at the map provided to us earlier during the registration period, we had already planned a rough sketch of our plan for Day 1.

Our goal was to capture the Wonder as quickly as possible while also securing the buildings along the way. We were proud to be the first team to take the Wonder in our season!

Similar to Mudskippers on LI, Honey Badgers on BL and Otters on VJ, we have the Infected Ant Citadels for SW that gives us rich rewards to conquer the event.

Each person gets 15 hits per day to use when the Infected Ant Citadels appear.

Interesting Teamwork clickz :camera_flash:

All the clans were incredibly organized while capturing buildings or fighting the Infected Ants. It was truly fascinating to witness such amazing coordination!

Wetland - Week 2

Week 2 Begins… :herb::ant:

The Wetland holds its breath—a deceptive calm before the inevitable storm. Each clan moves with purpose, exploring the terrain, uncovering secrets, and crafting unique strategies to battle the relentless swarm of infected ants.

With the Level 7 tunnels to the first clash opening in a few days, we did our best to capture as many buffs as possible from the zone we all share in common with our allies.

After discussing with Atp and TBR, we decided that our clan and Atp will focus on the left clash, which is near our initial zone where our camp has the buff. Securing the wonder on the left will be our top priority at all costs. Meanwhile, TBR will concentrate on the clash on the right, where the blue camp has the buff, aiming to secure as many buffs as possible with support from Atp.

So far, only AvA has built toward the tunnel where our camp has the buff. On the other hand, FAR and CSX have built toward the other clash tunnel, where they have the buff.

Our camp made it a goal to capture buildings that were on our way to the wonder so we can gain buffs as we reach towards our goal.

The buildings in the clash area were kinda tough to capture, requiring a lot of time and patience. Our clan was the first to secure the residence on our season. The blue camp attempted to capture the residence on the other side as well but struggled, eventually opting to take over smaller buildings in the meantime.

To save time and resources, we decided to take the next residence together with TBR and Atp. This time, the capture was much quicker as all three of us fought the infected, rapidly depleting their supplies.

Us RoP and Atp split the buildings in the clash among ourselves and continued building to the wonder making it our goal to eliminate AvA who had few towers built here and seemed to be aiming for our wonder.

Meanwhile, on the other side, our opponents focused on gathering more buffs from the zone they shared among themselves.

Wetland - Week 3

A new week is here in the Wetlands, with still much to learn and explore. Last week, we took the Residences in the Clash area and continued building toward the wonder along with Atp.

We finally made our way near the wonder, the next tower we place for both us RoP and Atp will touch the far supply range.

We worked together in getting the supply to 0% on the wonder. Our camp agreed on splitting the wonders such that each of us have atleast one wonder. So we RoP would take this one.

After we took the wonder, our next goal was to protect it from AvA who seemed to have an eye on it and started building towards where Atp was on the clash.

Atp did a good job in beating them and keeping them away from the residence to which they came for. They gave up on our clash after the push.

Our next goal was to secure the wonder on the next clash that is to open in a few days from the Verdant Camp.

Since TBR was kinda closer towards the clash tunnel on the right where our camp has a temporary buff we asked for a tower transfer there to help them secure the wonder there. Atp was focusing on the other clash on the left side.

We received the tower transfer after 24hrs from TBR and started building towards the tunnel, but in order to cross the leaf which leads to the tunnel we had to cut down the supply from the residence lvl8 with fungi lvl III supply down to 50%. It was kinda tough because it was under bonus but we both were able to cut the supply down to 50% and cross the leaf and reach the tunnel.

We planned on entering through the left tunnel so that TBR and Atp can have some place and its not congested, so we started building towards the left tunnel and did a tower transfer to Atp near the right tunnel where we built to first.

Seems like CSX will be facing us on this clash on the right side. They have also started a tower transfer to AvA to one of the tunnels.

Meanwhile, on the other clash where the opponents have a temporary buff, Atp have started building towards the wonder there, so far only AvA and FAR are focusing on that clash.

Though the opponents have buff and our camp suffers severe loss on that clash, Atp did an amazing job and got towards the wonder already.

They have now reached the wonder and taken it successfully. Atp have an amazing teamwork and are a very smart team. They have impressed everyone on the season with their skills and strategies.

That’s all for this weeks update.

Week 3 Milestones

What’s the situation on the right clash? Did the Fertile Camp secure it? Were they also able to hold the wonder on the left clash?

Wetland - Week 4

Week 4 – one of the most important weeks of the event, giving us a rough idea of which camp might win and which might lose.
Let’s see what happened on RoP’s SW! :eyes:

On the right clash we had CSX from the opponents side who tried to build to the wonder and take it before us as they had a shorter and easier path to it.

They had a very hard time in getting the supply down on their own which bought us extra time for all 3 of us from the camp to reach to the wonder.

Atp and TBR decided that us RoP would take this wonder as well and they both helped us reduce the supply.

CSX tried to sneak in and take it when the supply reduced but we managed to beat them to it and successfully took the wonder before them.

Us RoP we continued pushing CSX far away from the wonder and clash area.

They eventually gave up fighting us and continued building to unclaimed buildings on their first clash area and started fighting the NPCs.

They were in for a little surprise from TBR who silently was building on the first clash while they were busy fighting us on the other side. They took back the buildings they took earlier from them.

But I must really appreciate CSX for their smart moves and good activity, they fought really hard from the blue camp.

On the left clash we have Atp who helped us reduce the supply on the wonder and then immediately prepared for the next big battle - defend the wonder from AvA who had built to it during our protection period.

Atp defeated AvA and then pushed them far away from the wonder. FAR was slowly trying to reach the wonder but they were still far away and trapped by the NPCs.
AvA did a tower transfer to CSX after the defeat.
Since it will be hard on Atp to have a 3vs1, us RoP and TBR decided we must help them asap. We RoP asked for a tower transfer to the left clash. TBR was already half way built to the tunnel to the clash so it was kinda easy for them to make their way to the clash.

Both us and TBR had a long way to build to reach the wonder but we made it on time.

We RoP were closer to FAR so we went after them but sadly they did’nt resist much so we destroyed few towers and then took a turn towards the right left side, where AvA was and CSX was building to.

The next day all 6 of us were ready near the wonder for an epic battle.

We RoP were fighting both AvA and CSX at the same time. Atp was taking care of FAR and TBR was destroying AvA from the behind towards the wonder.

With good teamwork of supporting each other, we were able to defeat all 3 of them from the blue camp and pushed them far away from the wonder.

It was a great win for our camp. Hard work and sacrifices always pays off!

That’s all for this weeks update.

Wetland - Week 5

Can you believe it?! :exploding_head: Our wild Wetland adventure is almost over—we’re already in Week 5! :hourglass_flowing_sand: The tunnels to the mysterious Tree Area are just days away from unlocking… :deciduous_tree::unlock: What chaos, surprises, and last-minute twists await? :roller_coaster::fire: Let’s dive into the latest updates! :rocket::boom:

Previously our camp the Fertile Camp secured both wonders on both the clash area.

Our next goal was to grab as much buff from the inner zone our camp shares, take the final wonder- the lvl 9 wonder and make our way to the tree tunnel.

Initially, our camp decided to split the wonders such that all 3 of us would have atleast one wonder. Since Atp and us already have a wonder, this wonder would be for TBR.

Since us RoP were closer to the wonder, we helped TBR reduce the supply on the wonder to save time and resources.
Once the supply was at 0% we continued building to the buildings on our way to the tunnel.

On the Verdant Camp, AvA and FAR were working together to get the supply down and later AvA took the wonder.

All 6 of us were building like crazy to reach to the tree/buildings asap.

We RoP decided to enter the tree area from below. So we went for the residence to get the benefit of easy teleport and made our way to were AvA and FAR were kinda preparing to battle us together and block our path from below to the tree. CSX met with Atp near the buildings on the left side of the tree and the two fought so long.

While we RoP were fighting both AvA and FAR for hours and were nearly out of stamina, CSX pulled out a smart move and went for our wonder on the clash area.

We reached out to our allies and both of them jumped in to help asap.

TBR went for CSX’s buildings on the tree area to distract them.

Atp built from the wonder to the lair and to were CSX was and the next day when protection lift, they pushed them back away from the wonder.

We are so gratefull to have amazing allies that are so helpful and work really good as a team. We are truly blessed.

The next day we RoP pushed both AvA and FAR and made our way to the tree from below.

The bonus from the tree was about to end soon and we all got into position.

We decided to do the lucky hit thingy were all 3 of us would hit the tree together and the clan that hits the last keeps it.

We scheduled it for 20:00 UTC so everyone on all 3 clans can come enjoy the reward for their work. The whole place was full of marches running all over, it was a beautiful sight to see.

The tree got taken so quick with all those marches and TBR got the last hit. :dizzy:

I love how the new update lets everyone on the camp get the first occupation reward. Something really nice.

What an epic week! :zap: From brilliant tactics to unforgettable moments, we fought, laughed, and dominated together.

:star2: “Andddd… THAT’S A WRAP! :clapper::sparkles: #LegendsOfTheWetland

Wetland - Week 6 (Final Few Days)

Our incredible stay at the Surreal Wetland is coming to an end, and in just a few days, we’ll have to say goodbye to this magical place and the wonderful people we’ve met. To the allies who stood by us and the rivals who pushed us further: thank you for making this journey unforgettable. Leaving won’t be easy, but the stories we take with us will keep this magic alive long after we’ve gone.

With nothing much left after capturing tree and also pushing our opponents far from the tree, we started focusing on taking unoccupied buildings for the rewards that we still had around us and we also had some friendly fights with our opponents now and then.

I absolutely love the new update that lets us zoom out for a wider view of the map! It’s fascinating to see all the tiny, colorful towers and buildings of each clan spread out across the landscape—like a vibrant miniature world of strategy and rivalry.

And with that, we brought our adventure to a close—packing up our memories along with our bags as we prepared to head home.

Alliance Kill and Influence Ranking

WINNERS!

FERTILE CAMP

Season’s over and the results are in - :trophy: Fertile Camp takes the win! :tada: Congrats to everyone who put in the work to make this happen! :muscle: You showed up, you fought hard, and this victory was earned the right way. :sparkles: Proof that hardwork pays off! :fire:

Week 6 Milestones

Appreciation Time!

Allies

We, RoP, would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to both TBR and Atp for the exceptional coordination throughout this event. This victory wouldn’t have been possible without your hard work, brilliant strategies, and relentless determination. Your resilience and teamwork were truly inspiring!

We hope our paths cross again in future events—perhaps even as teammates once more. Until then, we wish you both the very best in your next adventures. Keep shining! :sparkles:

Opponents

A shoutout to our opponents CSX, AvA, and FAR for competing in this event. We appreciate the effort you all put in - every team brings something unique to the battlefield.

We enjoyed testing our strategies against different playstyles, and we value the experience gained through these matches. Thank you for the challenges that helped us grow as competitors.

Best of luck in your future matches. May we all keep improving, and we hope to face you again in upcoming events!

RoP Family

To my incredible RoP family – you all are truly amazing! :sparkles:

Even though this was just a beta event, it pushed us to our limits – draining our resources, speedups, and teleports. But you never gave up. You fought tirelessly until the very end, and that’s what makes our family so unique.

Sure, battling bots took forever, but the real win was the time we spent together – cracking jokes, sharing the grind, and turning a hectic event into something fun and memorable. :tada:

Here’s to more victories and sweet memories to cherish forever together.:fire:

Our Leader

Diego, you are simply the best.
Thank you for everything you do for us—not just during the event, but every single day. You’ve given so much of yourself, made sacrifices we’ve seen and probably even more that we haven’t, all for the good of the team. And for that, we’re beyond grateful.

Though the event was new and everyone was clueless on how to beat the bots to deplete the supply, you patiently observed each of their movement and came up with a strategy for not just our team but also our whole camp.

But what sets you apart isn’t just your intelligence—it’s the way you lead with heart. Your humility, your grit, your refusal to give up even when things get tough—that’s what truly inspires us. You never seek the spotlight, but your actions speak volumes.

Here’s to more wins, more laughter, and more memories we’ll carry forever. We love you, Diego.

Let’s meet on the Phoenixs next journey! Jenn signing off for now!

Thank you for your time.
