A desire for justice, that fiercely yearns,
A thirst for retribution, for wrongs to be right,
For those who caused pain, to feel your might.
It drives you forward, with a fierce resolve,
To seek out justice, for those you absolve,
To bring balance to the scales of fate,
And make those who wronged you, feel their own weight.
With every step, vengeance fuels your soul,
A flame that burns brighter, as you take control,
Of your own destiny, and the fate of those,
Who dared to cross you, and impose.
But in the end, does vengeance truly satisfy,
Or leave you empty, with a bitter goodbye,
To the ones you love, and the life you knew,
As you chase after revenge, with every step anew.
Perhaps it’s best, to let go of the past,
And forgive those who’ve wronged you, at last,
To move on, and live a life that’s true,
Without the burden of vengeance, weighing on you.
