SVH Server 566, Blitzkrieg, Surreal Wetland, SW 133

SVH is making the most of being back on the regular server. After our last event win, everyone is enjoying their rewards and hill skins. We have farmed resources, healing speedups, and open the cross server convocation to welcome some new members.

One of the largest projects we have undertaken since being back on the regular server is building the SVA (Soldiers of Valhalla Academy) alliance. One of the other alliances on the server had very low activity, so in order to go to events, we have sent our higher level second accounts, farms, and members that didn’t make the cut into SVH. I also rebuilt the SVH server to accommodate both alliances, separated by permissions.

SVH has decided to go back to the Surreal Wetland event. We have also recruited around 12 new and returning members. Our leadership team has started planning our designated roles in the upcoming event. We always split the workload so that no one’s gets burned out. We will also be selecting a new alliance theme for the event. SVH will be ready!

SVH has entered the matchmaking period for our Surreal Wetland event. We will know our allies and enemies in the next 3 days. After our strong win last event, we are hoping for some cooperative and strong allies. Now that we understand the event a little better, it should be easier to plan and coordinate.

I have already set up some event channels and roles in the SVH discord as we have done in previous events. These channels help to keep our leadership teams on the same page for event planning and communication. SVH will be hoping that our allies will want to block the same time period of 0 to 8UTC, as this seems to be our most inactive time.

We have promoted a new leadership member for this event that will be able to cover the time period in which most of the alliance sleeps. We think this will benefit in the case of dropping towers and late night fights that require a leadership member online. After recruiting after the last event, SVH will enter with a full 100 members and a lot more power. Achillies will be leading as R5, as him and I switch off every event.

Over the next next, we will continue our efforts to farm last minute healing speedups and fill our depots with resources. We want everyone to be as prepared as possible for the long event ahead. Now it’s just a waiting game to meet the alliances that will be in the event. SVH will be ready!

The matchmaking period has ended and SVH finally knows our allies and enemies for our Surreal Wetland event. Our allies will be BUG and dys. Our enemies will be BSU, DIN, and DEA. We will be leaving for the new event at reset.

The first day after matching with our allies, we brought the leaders into the SVH Discord and set them up with permissions for the new event channels that I had set up previous to the event. The first order of business was to figure out the R6, starting zones, and protection time.

All three allied alliances started planning immediately. We decided that dys would take the R6 for the event because the leader can be active at any time needed. dys will take the north zone, SVH will take the center, and BUG will take the south zone. We have all agreed to a protection time of 8 to 16UTC, as this is the most inactive time for two of our alliances. Today after reset, we will find out where the enemies have selected their starting zones and their protection time.

With the final hours on the regular server, we will be doing the SVS event and filling up on last minute resources for the wars to come. We are excited to see the new changes to the infected alliance on the event. Leadership has already started planning our initial routes. We will be ready at reset to start our new adventure!

This was the first week of our Surreal Wetland event, and everyone was excited to be back. The first thing we did when entering was to collect all of our nodes to jumpstart our T11 season ant production. Leadership began planning our initial routes and we started building towers to the nearest residences.

All of the alliances built towards the wonders of our starting zones to get the buffs and increase our season ant production for the fights ahead. After taking the wonders, we started building towers to take the fight to the infected and test the new game mechanics. It seems the infected alliance is much easier than our previous event, and we were able to take their buildings easily.

All the alliances have started moving into the next open zones. We have planned and split the zone evenly so everyone will have a fair share of the zone. We have started battling the infected in this area as well. We will begin planning our entry into the next zones very soon. Our plan is to have 2 alliances enter into the zone where we have a buff and watch the enemy movements. We will adjust our strategy as needed.

Our second week in the event consisted of fighting the infected to take more buildings and gain more buffs for our camp. All the alliances took as many residences as possible before the next clash zones opened.

As soon as the outer clash zones opened, SVH and BUG entered the new southern clash zone with DIN entering from the other side. dys entered the new northern clash zone along with DEA and BSU coming from the other side. All the alliances raced to take new buffs in these zones.

BSU took the wonder in the new northern clash while DEA built down to dys to try and push them back. dys did a great job holding their ground without losing their residences. In the new southern clash, BUG took the wonder and both BUG and SVH built up to push back DIN. With the focus on a war with SVH, BUG was able to take back a residence. After a few hours of rest, SVH was able to push through and take back the remaining buildings in that zone. After these battles, all the alliances went back to fighting the infected.

With less than 3 days left before the next clash zones open, there have been some tower transfers around the map. dys is transferring to BUG near the north center tunnel. DEA is transferring to DIN on the opposite side. At the south center clash, DIN is transferring to BSU. There will be more transfers in the coming days to have multiple alliances in each new clash zone.

Over the next week, we will be preparing for the next clash zone by taking more buffs from the infected alliance while watching our existing gains from the enemies. We will be working closely with the other alliances to make sure we have the best chance of winning the event.

This week was a continuation of the wars from last week. All the alliances defended the current territories that they held while trying to gain new buffs from the enemies. Wars broke out all over the map. With the final tower transfers in place, all the alliances were at both of the new clash zones.

After successfully defending against DIN last week, they tried again to take the SVH buildings in the southern clash zone. With the help from BUG, SVH was able to retake the ground that was lost in this area and push back DIN. At the same time, SVH was fighting a double front against BSU in the south middle clash zone. They were able to take back one of our residences while we were battling with DIN.

In the northern clash, DEA was able to push and take back a couple of buildings from dys in the zone where buffs are against our camp. However, dys was able to go through the second tunnel and secure new buildings on the north side of that map.

Over the next few days, all the alliances will start building towards the tree zone tunnels to get ready when the bonus drops. SVH will be taking the final wonder in the middle clash zone once it unlocks, then continue our build to the tunnels. All the alliances will be ready when the countdown ends to enter the final zone and battles of the event.

This was the final week before the final tunnels open to the tree zone. All the alliances were taking last minute buildings and building towers to prepare to enter this final zone.

SVH worked to take the final wonder in the center zone before the Tree Zone before building the rest of the way to the entry tunnels. We started by slowly draining the infected wonder until the resources were depleted. With the final wonder taken, we moved to other zones to fight with the enemy alliances.

SVH and dys moved to the northern clash to see if we could take some last minute residences back from the enemy camp, while BUG moved to the north center zone to take back the tunnel and lock out the enemy alliances. SVH fought with DEA, dys fought with BSU, and BUG worked against DIN at the tunnel. While no big progress was made, we kept the enemies on their toes.

The final tunnels will open at reset, and all the alliances will enter the last zone to make our way to the tree. SVH and dys will began building north towards the wonder while BUG will build across to cut off the enemy camp to come from the south. While we have an initial plan to enter the area, plans can change depending on the enemy movements. We will be ready go when the time comes!

This week the tunnels opened to the final tree zone, and all the alliances raced to take the tunnels and build as fast we we could the the center. The plan was to establish an area near the tree where we could fight to push back the enemy alliances. BuG would head from the south, while SVH and dys would head north.

On the second day, the battles began against the enemy camp. All three enemy alliances went from to north and attempted to hold of SVH and dys. BUG took a couple of buildings in the south before heading north to assist in the war. Being separated was a disadvantage that was hard to overcome for my camp.

My camp tried to bring all three alliances together to fight as one against them. After days of battling, DIN, DEA, and BSU were able to make up ground and push us back from the Tree area. While the fighting was intense and went back and forth, the enemy was able to push us back and separate us.

The battles in the final zone seemed to end as fast as they started. With the enemy surrounding the tree, my camp has decided to give up trying to push through the enemy towers. While the event might be over for my camp, we will continue to fight for fun and make the best of the final week in the event.

As always, SVH will be adjusting ranks for rewards as we do at the end of every event. We try to be as fair as possible to all our members and give the rewards that were earned based on participation. Once we hit the regular server, we will start recruiting and preparing for our next adventure.

In our final days in the event there was not much that happened. Since my camp was eliminated from taking the tree, we just picked some fights for fun while waiting to exit to the regular server. While the event was a loss, we were happy with the cooperation between the alliances in our camp.

Looking back at the end of the event, it is apparent that our mistake was not moving together to the tree and having one alliance go south. I think we would have had a better chance had all three alliances moved together as one and fight the enemy near the tree.

Once SVH got back to the regular server, we immediately started farming healing speedups for our next event. We will also be farming resources to fill our depots over the next couple of weeks to be better prepared. Everyone was happy to open our rewards from Surreal Wetland. I received a Red Velvet.

SVH has begun our process of analyzing the statistics from last event to kick low participation members and to recruit new, more active members for our alliance. We will also start the process to fill two leadership spots. We plan to go to the event 80% full, as opposed to 100/100 like we have in past events. We hope having more active members with less power will give us a more favorable matchmaking. SVH has a rotating R5 between Achilles and myself, so next event it will be my turn to lead the alliance. Leadership is currently voting where our next adventure will take us.

Blitzkrieg signing off…
