SVH, Server 566, Blitzkrieg, Surreal Wetland Beta SW10

As SVH prepares for the upcoming Surreal Wetland beta event, we have been making the most of our time on the server. We have just left our Vast Jungle event, and we have been rushing to get prepared for the unknown event. Everyone is excited to see what it’s like.

As soon as we hit the regular server, we began by farming much needed healing speedups and resources for the wars to come. Since the other alliance that we used to farm speedups with left the server, some of our members went to other alliances to help hold the squirters. We have made use of the time to do this before being locked in for the event.

We were also able to get some more much needed Bio Essence from the Alliance Expedition while back on the server.

SVH has adjusted our R3 ranks based on performance in the last event. We have also changed a few of our leadership positions. We have kicked inactive members and recruited new and returning members. We are hoping that this event will have a better outcome than our previous Vast Jungle event. We currently sit at 93 members. I will be leading the alliance as R5 this event.

We have about two weeks to be fully prepared for the Surreal Wetland beta. While a lot of the game mechanics for the new event are still unknown, we will be doing as much research on the event as possible to be ready. SVH is ready to battle and see who our allies and opponents will be after the matchmaking period ends. We will be ready when the time comes to leave the server.

SVH has entered the matchmaking period for Surreal Wetland. In another 5 days, we will find out who our allies and enemies will be for the event. We are hoping to have some good allies this time, so we can rebound from our loss last season. We hope that the new event will be a more evenly balanced gameplay.

Since my last post, SVH has taken in a few more members for the event. As we sit now, we will have 97 members. I will be leading the event this time, as SVH switches the R5 every event between Achilles and myself.

Over the next week, we will continue farming healing speedups from the Tree, and getting much needed resources from SVH farms for the event. We anticipate this event to have a lot of fighting, and although we don’t fully know what to expect, we will be ready when the time comes.

One of the things that we want this event are good allies that have a similar active time. We are hoping for a protection period of 8 to 16UTC, as this is the most inactive time for my alliance. If we can get some allies that agree to that, we feel we will be in good shape for the event. One thing is for sure, the protection time can make of break an event.

The matchmaking period for our Surreal Wetland Beta event has ended, and SVH finally knows our allies and enemies for the event. Our allies in Fertile Camp will be DIN and WoW, both from the same server. The fact they are from the same server should benefit our camp, because they are already familiar with each other. Our enemies in Verdant Camp will be VVV, MPL, and MFG.

The allied alliances are already in communication in the event channels I set up for us in the SVH discord. We have separate channels for us including: a General discussion chat, Strategy and Planning, an Enemy Information channel, an announcement Camp Announcement channel with webhook capabilities, an Event Member chat for regular members, and an Event Voice channel if needed. So far, communication has been excellent for all three alliances.

The first order of business was to discuss our starting zones and protection time. Since we started communication yesterday, we have all agreed on both points. SVH will take the north zone, DIN will take the middle zone, and WoW will start in the south zone. My camp has selected to block the 8 to 16UTC timeframe, as this is the time with the least activity for two of our alliances. While we haven’t really discussed the R6 role, it seems that the votes have gone to SVH. Although, all decisions will be made by all three alliances.

There are still a few more days before we leave for the event. We will make use of the remaining time on the regular server by farming for last minute healing speedups and filling our depots with resources. While there are still many unknowns with the event gameplay, our camp will be ready for whatever Surreal Wetland Beta throws our way. SVH is looking forward to working with both DIN and WoW this event and driving home another win!

We finally found out the starting zones and protection time for our Surreal Wetland Beta event. SVH took the north, DIN took the middle, and WoW took the south zone for Fertile Camp. VVV took the north, MPL took the middle, and MFG took the south for the Verdant Camp. I was elected as the R6 for the event, and both camps chose to block the 8 to 16UTC timeframe. This will give us a full 16 hours of fighting each day.

This week was a week of war against the infected alliance. SVH started out building towers and taking residences, along with the other alliances. We took a few of the close residences first, then we made our primary focus to take the wonder in our home zone to jumpstart the season T11 ant production for the wars ahead.

After building to the tunnels that will open next, we decided to go head on with the infected alliance to steal back some of the buffs they held in our zone. We quickly realized that building directly to the residence is the best choice. Once a residence is taken, the infected alliance seem to stop protecting their towers and going after ours. WoW and DIN started this same process in their home zones.

After taking back some of the residences, the time came to hit the tunnels and move into the next highly infected zone on the map. All three alliances have been at work pushing back the infected alliance and stealing the buildings.

Over the next couple of days, we will all three start a path to the next zones once they open. SVH will build north, WoW will build south, and DIN will keep a close eye on the enemy movements to see which zone to help in. At the current time, we believe MFG will go south, VVV will go north, and we will need to watch where MPL starts to build.

The goal over the next week will be to take back as much of the zones we have access to from the infected and to make our way to the next clash zones. The confrontations with the enemies should be some time this week. We will be ready for war!

This week all the alliances continued to try and take buildings from the infected alliance. After the update, it seems that the infected alliance got a lot stronger and harder fight. But, that didn’t discourage us from going head on with them.

SVH continued on our path through the northern clash zone, taking buffs on our way building to the wonder. Both WoW and DIN started their paths in the southern clash zone. SVH was able to make progress in taking away buildings in the northern clash. WoW and DIN had some problems in the south and decided to continue in the middle zone while also building into the north. SVH has started to build in the south zone to assist also.

The enemy alliances struggled in the north and gave up completely. They all three started building in the south zone, but also seemed to struggle there. It seems that all the alliances have had a hard time after the last game update.

Over the next week, we will build to the tunnels of the next clash zone while continuing to try and take buffs away from the infected alliance. Hopefully, our camp will be able to take at least one of the wonders in the open clashes.

This week, everyone continued take take residences from the infected alliance. The milestone that made the infected easier to fight made a huge difference in capturing their residences. We were able to gain some much needed buffs for the battles ahead!

There were a few tower transfers have taken place near the new clash zones that opened. SVH made a transfer to WoW to give them access, and then WoW transferred to DIN at the tunnel. Now all three alliances have access to the northern middle clash. The enemy camp has done the same. We will continue to build and take residences from the infected in the new zone.

Over the course of the week, all three enemy alliances pushed through the southern clash to take away some of my camp’s residences. In an effort to draw the war to the north zone where we have buffs, SVH, WoW, and DIN started building towards the enemies. SVH built to the MPL towers in the north, but they are giving minimal resistance. DIN will build to fight MFG. VVV has yet to make significant progress in this zone.

Over the next week, we will continue to push the enemies out if the north zone while continuing building in the new open clash zones. We will also build to the gates of the tree zone and prepare for the final showdown. While we haven’t had much fighting with the enemy alliances as of yet, we fully expect some huge battles over the next week or two. We will be ready!

This week in our Surreal Wetland Beta event was very eventful. All the alliances continued to try and capture more buildings for buffs from the infected. We also had to build to the tunnels to the tree zone that opens after reset.

In the north middle clash zone, WoW and SVH worked together to drain the infected from the wonder that was going to be captured by WoW. Unfortunately, during this process, the wonder fell much more quickly than anticipated. Though my leaders tried to cancel all rallies once we saw how fast it was going down, a few rallies were past the point of stopping and SVH got the final hit to capture it. Meanwhile, DIN was working in the middle south zone to capture more buffs for the camp.

After capturing some last minute buildings, the time came to start working on the ferries to make our way to the tree zone tunnels. After a couple days of work, SVH was able to drain the level 9 residence enough to drop the supply range and pass through the northeast ferry. After making it through, DIN followed behind the same path to gain access. SVH then built to assist WoW with doing the the same on the other side. Now all three alliances have built to the tree tunnels for tomorrow’s reset.

The enemy camp hasn’t had the same luck. All the alliances built to the ferries, but have struggled to gain access to the zone leading to the tunnels. So far, MPL was the only alliance able to make it through to the tunnels. VVV gained access, but they were quickly eliminated by the infected and pushed back behind the ferry. MFG has not been able to gain entry at all.

With less than 24 hours before the tunnels open, Fertile Camp is ready for the next reset. Our plan is to build straight across to block any enemy alliances that are able to enter and block their path. We will then fall back and take residences to gain more buffs. Regardless of what the enemy camp does, we will be ready for a fight!

This week the tunnels opened to the tree zone and it was off to the races SVH, WoW, and DIN took the tunnels and built as fast as we could across the zone to intercept the enemy alliances. MPL was the first into the zone on the enemy side, with the other two alliances struggling to get in immediately.

MPL and WoW were the first two to square off in the bottom portion of the map. Eventually, DIN was able to build down and assist while MFG also entered the war in that area. Meanwhile, up closer to the tree, SVH started fighting VVV. MFG had also built up towards SVH.

After losing the battle in the southern part of the zone, MPL started building with MFG to the right side of the tree. At this point, SVH was sandwiched between all three alliances. We chose our battles carefully, and were able to hold our ground against VVV and MFG on the left side of the tree, while also fighting MPL on the right side of the tree losing minimal towers in both battles.

After long days of battling, DIN was able to build above the tree and assist SVH in pushing back the VVV and MFG. WoW started building from the bottom and clearing both MFG and MPL towers to the lower right of the tree. With all three alliances helping each other, we were able to hold the enemy back from making any gains.

Eventually with the enemy camp not making any progress against us, they had officially given up. All three allies started clearing the enemy towers until all three alliances were eliminated from the Tree zone. As agreed earlier from our leadership, WoW took the tree to secure the win for our camp.

Over the next few days, SVH will be adjusting our ranks for rewards before the settlement period starts. We will also be picking fights with infected and MPL to keep from getting bored for the remainder of the event. Everyone is excited for winning our first Surreal Wetland beta event and getting our extra rewards. It was a pleasure working with both WoW and DIN this event. Special thanks to the leadership of both our allied alliances for a job well done!

The final week in our event was very slow after the dominating performance of our camp eliminating the enemies from the Tree zone. There were a few battles, but they were just for fun. SVH, WoW, and DIN did an amazing job with the planning and execution this Surreal Wetland beta event.

During the final few days of the event, SVH went through our new statistics and made rank adjustments for rewards. We do this every event based on overall activity instead of strength. This allows all members a chance at promotion, not just the strongest in the alliance. Because of his outstanding work this event, I gave my R5 rewards to one of our officers. Special thanks to Gonna this event! You truly did an amazing job, as well as the entire alliance! We showed what hard work and determination can do, and followed through with the SVH motto “To the Last Ant!”.

After the event ended, SVH returned to the original server to get our well deserved rewards. I was able to pull 2 season ants from my Dominated Season Hatch. I was able to get a Weaver and Sly Hunter, although I didn’t need another Weaver.

Once we got back to the server, SVH immediately started farming healing speedups for our next adventure. Leadership is still voting for the next event, but we will be farming both healing speedups and resources over the next couple of weeks. We will be ready!
