Hey everyone!
This time, I’ve got a weird feeling about this. You see, this is my 12th island event and my second time in the Surreal Wetland tournament. You’d think I’d be a seasoned veteran by now, right? Well, not exactly.
For this round, I was looking for a peaceful alliance. So, I grabbed my friend Daliane by the hand, and together, we jumped into TWF on server 839. Let’s just say… things here are different. REALLY different. I’ve thrown my personal rulebook out the window, and, trust me, that’s saying a lot. We’ll get to my rules in a bit—spoiler alert: I’ve broken almost all of them. But for now, let’s move on.
So, TWF has 98 members, but I’d bet at least 30 of them are farms. And let me tell you, I have a strict policy about bringing farms into team events. Nope. Not happening. That kind of thing works for forest events, but not here. Yet somehow, my teammates don’t agree with me. Sooo… I decided to let fate take the wheel and see where it leads.
Then, there’s the alliance’s active hours. Oh boy. Let’s just say, they don’t exactly match my play schedule, and for Daliane, it’s absolute chaos. But hey, we’re here to play together—just like we hang out in this forum. Hopefully, Daliane won’t hold this against me. Haha…fingers crossed!
Now, onto the players themselves. Look, we’re not the strongest fighters, but we make up for it with pure energy and enthusiasm. Seriously, these people are hilarious, kind, and full of life. The chat is just nonstop good vibes, jokes, and a ton of laughs. If only good humor could win battles!
Speaking of battles… I really hope our opponents aren’t ridiculously strong. But I DO know this: these guys will fight until the very last ant standing. We’re heading into the wetland alongside two other allies we haven’t met yet, and waiting on the battlefield are three mystery opponents.
Time’s ticking, and soon, all the secrets of this event will be revealed. Stay tuned—I’ll keep you posted as things unfold!
The Great Protection Timing Gamble
Picking the right protection time was a real headache. Our two main alliances were active from 8 AM to 4 PM, so our camp leader decided to set our protection time from midnight to 8 AM. And guess what? Our opponents chose 4 PM to midnight. That meant MML, our third alliance, was completely locked out—they had to fight during their sleep hours. Brutal, right?
I was a bit disappointed, but things turned out alright. The MML leader knows the game like the back of their hand, and their strategy skills made life a lot easier for us. Having a wise advisor in the mix is like finding an extra health potion when you’re down to one HP. Sure, it took time for our alliances to fully trust each other, but that’s just part of the game.
The enemy camp, with tons of active members and a better time advantage, went full “attack at all costs” mode. They stormed into both of our stronghold zones and beat us to the Wonders—twice! So, we had to take the long road and fight for our own Wonders. And guess what? Both times, we proved that a united camp can push through the toughest challenges.
Now things are getting intense. It’s our turn to march toward their Wonders, and the real battle is just beginning. But we have to be careful—their camp is dangerously close to our Wonders. One mistake, and we could lose our Stamina and Healing Mushrooms—which would be a total disaster. They’ve got numbers, and they’re ready to strike when we least expect it.
My advice? Slow and steady wins the battle. We want their Wonders, but not at the cost of a reckless fight in the Forest of Abundance. Let’s wait and see how this event unfolds.
The Battle for Wonders: Chaos, Clay, and a Whole Lot of Fighting
This time, we clashed with the rival camp in a fierce battle. Stakes? Sky-high. Strategy? Questionable.
We moved swiftly, racing toward Wonders—our ultimate prize. SaP charged forward, ready to seize victory. But then SPA, from the rival camp, pulled off an unexpected maneuver that actually helped us. Instead of holding their ground, they rushed toward Wonders just two hours before their shield activated. They somehow thought they could build four towers and destroy three in that short time. they couldn’t.
But their chaotic approach accidentally wiped out the robotic defenders of Wonders, making our job much easier! With no resistance left, SaP strolled in and took over Wonders without breaking a sweat. A flawless victory? Not quite. Our other alliances were still far away, struggling to reach us in time.
On the second day, the rival camp fought back hard. They stormed Wonders, reclaiming it while we were stretched too thin to stop them. The battle was brutal, and our clay supply was running dangerously low.
Then came day three—our chance at redemption. With everything we had, we fought tooth and nail, draining our stamina and every last healing mushroom. After an exhausting clash, Wonders was ours once again!
But victory came at a cost. The endless debates afterward drained me even more than the fight itself. Did I just lose track of the whole event? It sure felt like it.
Now, I hope the coming days bring some much-needed calm. We need to regroup, recharge, and keep our team spirit strong. No reckless moves. No unnecessary chaos. Just strategy and focus—especially for me. But honestly? I’m worried. If they push again while we’re low on morale, things could get ugly fast.
For now, I just need rest. And maybe a few extra mushrooms.
Tomorrow, the tunnels of the Great Tree Zone will finally be set free. Time is crawling, but change is in the air.
The enemy camp is cracking, alliances fracturing—it’s obvious now. Should we celebrate? Maybe. But honestly? Winning without a legendary battle isn’t winning at all.
Who knows? Maybe they’ll regroup at the last moment and summon us for a brutal showdown. Maybe, deep in their lair, they’re sharpening their mandibles for war. We must stay cautious.
Still, we hold our ground. We rebuild our ranks, heal our wounded ants, stack up the mushrooms, and fortify our clay reserves. This is the calm before the storm.
But when the moment comes? We won’t tiptoe—we’ll crash in like a raging tsunami, flooding the Great Tree Zone with our towers! The tree will be ours.
We’ve fought. We’ve strategized. Now it’s OUR turn to send our warrior ants marching up the Great Tree, to claim our rightful bounty.
FOR THE HIVE!
And as the battle dust settles, one thought lingers in my mind—what kind of ant will spring from my lucky clover prize? Last time, luck was cruel. This time, fate owes me!
The next few days will decide the end of this war. Whatever happens—we are ready.
Silent Day
Today, I’m stepping back in the alliance and staying silent until the event ends. Sometimes, taking a break is necessary—to clear your mind, avoid unnecessary arguments, and regain perspective. After all, this is just a game—nothing more, nothing less.
I’m not here to blame anyone or defend myself. I gave my best for the alliance, but one thing became clear: stick to your own rules. If you recall, in my first post, I admitted that I broke all my own rules. That was a mistake.
Looking at the situation, we have a 99% chance of taking the tree zone without much struggle, thanks to the internal conflicts on the enemy’s side. But maybe, one day, players from their camp will look back at this moment and realize—if they had been just a little more patient and had truly understood each other, they could have made things much harder for us.
I won’t talk more about it. My alliance mates are great people, but honestly, I’m drained.
For those reading this, here’s my advice: The rules remain the same as long as this game stays the way it is.
- Don’t bring farms to the island. It only adds pressure on others.
- Active players matter more than troop strength. A T8 player who actively participates is far more valuable than a whale who barely plays. Every player brings something to the team.
- Farms should contribute, not just exist for points. If a farm logs in once every 10 days for a few minutes, it helps no one.
- Inactive R4 members shouldn’t hold leadership positions. Unless under special circumstances, R4 roles should go to active contributors.
At the end of the day, these are just my thoughts—nothing more. I wish success to my alliance and our camp, though we all know how things will end.
Well, I couldn’t witness the sweet ending of this event season. This isn’t the place for me to elaborate on why. Let me just say this - whenever I revisit this chapter of my story, it brings back memories. Though my friends know exactly what I’m referring to, I’ll keep it brief. (I hope there will always be peace in the real world, where people respect each other’s humanity, and may all wars be confined to computer games. The end.)
As I predicted, the opposing camp put up little resistance due to their internal conflicts, allowing us to advance easily. However, my alliance’s excessive caution in the final days wasted significant amounts of Clay and Stamina - enough to fill a trash bin - causing our championship points to drop sharply in the second round. But ultimately, the majority decides.
Despite our victory in this Island season, I couldn’t savor the sweetness of this triumph. Real-life troubles overshadowed the achievement.
I congratulate all my friends and allies on this victory, and I sincerely wish our opponents success in future events.
