Hey everyone,

I know, I knowā€”Iā€™m late to report on this event. But trust me, each day in the Surreal Wetland brings something so wild and exciting that Iā€™ve been completely engrossed!

Day One, we crash-landed on this bizarre island, only to find out we werenā€™t just up against the usual enemy camp. Oh no, there were mysterious, lurking forces. Imagine my surprise when I discovered these forces were none other thanā€¦ Robot ants with different levels of power and very strong commanders with the latest generation of insects at level 100.

In the first few days, I tried my luck attacking a few of these mechanical marvels. Maybe I was on a resource-looting spreeā€”
But guess what? They only defended and didnā€™t counterattack. So, I left them alone to see what tricks theyā€™d pull next.

Then, we unleashed our first T11 ants and went for their fortresses. Man, was that an eye-opener! These robot ants were toughā€¦ They were going to be a major challenge.

This season, Iā€™m playing with two old friends in a new alliance (@loidxl , @Daliane ).
The alliance chat is buzzing with activity, but Iā€™ve been playing the silent observer, just taking it all in for now. Thereā€™s plenty of time to chat - no rush!

So, letā€™s talk about the Surreal Wetland.
We are two camps, each consisting of three alliances:

thatā€™s the setup for this wild and surreal event! Buckle up, itā€™s going to be an adventure.

Good luck to us all. Been getting beat up quite awhileā€¦FBO player.

Hello. Nice to see you at this event. I hope our horns will clash soon and the real war will begin. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Whatā€™s clear as day is that this event will be one rollercoaster of an adventure. Picture itā€”our squad of ants facing off against the relentless horde of infected ants. I donā€™t have the foggiest idea of outwitting these critters yet, but weā€™re brainstorming! Their defense? Impenetrable. Their commanders? Fierce beyond measure. And me? Just your average ant in the strength department. Taking out a boss feels like chopping down a tree with a toothpick. I need to patch up my 25 stamina and burn through 400-600k T10 boosts. Itā€™s a living nightmare, I tell you!

The real kicker? These infected ants seem to have bottomless stamina and an infinite army at their disposal. Iā€™ve yet to discover their Achillesā€™ heel if they have one. And to make matters worse, the deeper we get into this, the more stubborn and ornery they become.

I canā€™t help but suspect that the game developers might be hoarding the Tree of Abundance for themselves, like a dragon sitting on a pile of gold.

Donā€™t get me wrong, the event has some cool features and itā€™s loads of fun, but man, itā€™s tough as nails. In a moment of pure madness, I decided to test what would happen if their health hit zero. Guess what? It shot back up to 100 in no time flat!

Weā€™ll keep trudging along and hope , maybe by putting the infected ants on the same level playing field as us in terms of healing and stamina.

Well, things have taken a turn for the better. The developers have finally dialed down the might of those pesky infected ants. Weā€™ve made some commendable progress over the past few days, even if Iā€™ve been trailing along with droopy eyes and a foggy brain. The timing of this grand battle is nothing short of atrocious for me, but hey, at least the go-getters and early birds are in their element.

Both camps are locked in an epic standoff, while those infected ants are battling us all. We have to fend off the swarming ants before we can even think about clashing with each other. The contestants are concocting devious plans to use these infected ants against one another optimally. Thereā€™s not much time left before the tentacles of these rival ants intertwine, and the sweet taste of victoryā€”or defeatā€”lingers in the air. Iā€™ll just sit back and watch the drama unfold with my trusty cup of coffee.

Well,
the Surreal Island event is wrapping up, and our valiant ants will soon be marching back home. As I reflect on this wild ride, I canā€™t decide whether I loved it or loathed it.
Our skirmishes with the main rival were fleeting, to say the least. The vast map, the endless tower construction, and the resource consumption? Not my cup of tea. We mostly battled robots with fixed strategiesā€”boring!
Especially when you donā€™t get any kill points from these tin cans and have to throw heaps of resources and time at them. Real opponents are always way more fun to tussle with. Early on, the robots did make the event more enjoyable, but as time went on, their nuisance factor shot through the roof.

Honestly, if I were a developer, Iā€™d make it so that after capturing a botā€™s nest, we could keep them as slaves in our camp and use them in battles. Iā€™d also increase the frequency of real opponent battles.

In the end, our battles were short-lived, mostly due to our opponentā€™s internal strife. One of their three alliances didnā€™t show up for the final battles. Maybe if all three of their armies had fought us, it wouldā€™ve been a different story.

Our team did an outstanding job; everyone was actively involved, making things tough for our rivals. Weā€™ll be snatching the Tree of Abundance without a hitch today, and I donā€™t foresee any tough challenges in the next three days.

My antsā€™ jaws are getting dullā€”I wish we had more real battles and epic tales to tell.
