Story
Scientific name: Oecophylla longinoda
Wildly distributed across the sub-Saharan Africa, this species is an aggressive arboreal ant with a strong sense of territory. A mature colony of Oecophylla longinoda may even dominate several trees, with nests scattered throughout its heavily defended arboreal territory.
