Story
Scientific name: Procryptocerus adlerzi
This species, mainly found in Ecuador, has spiny hairs that other ants don’t have and is almost always foraging. Its nest can be found in any habitable place, from deep in the ground to the branches of the upper part of a tree. Its colony is usually small, consisting of only a few hundred to a few thousand workers.
