Procryptocerus Adlerzi, commonly known as “spiny turtle ant”, is a species of ant with unique spiny hairs not found in other ants. They are primarily found in Ecuador and Brazil. They are always searching for food, with their nests located in various suitable locations ranging from deep underground to tree branches high above. Their colonies are relatively small, typically consisting of only a few hundred to a few thousand worker ants.
