Welcome back, warriors! It’s Jenn from s470’s Rise of the Phoenix — and it’s time to gear up for our next big adventure.

We had all four seasons — Lost Island, Barren Land, Vast Jungle, and Surreal Wetland — open, and we decided to participate in the latest one: Surreal Wetland.

Season Registration

We’ve signed up for the Race of Champions - Surreal Wetland beta once again.

CSC opens in a few days and we are super excited to welcome new and old friends to our family.

Welcoming New Players

We welcomed many new members, we are now a family of 91 members, all sharing the same goal: to win and enjoy every moment of the event together.

This season, we’ve been thrilled to welcome friends: the END clan. Shoutout to Jemtix and his team — we’re so happy to have them with us.

We’ve crossed paths with the END clan not once, but three times during our expedition events in the past. We are so happy to have them now on the same team.

Season Preparation

As always, the moment we return from one event, we’re already gearing up for the next. It’s all about smart planning — saving up resources, teleports, speedups, and diamonds to stay ahead.

During the War of Kings, we teamed up with our allies and our alt clan BOF to farm speedups from the squirters.

In War of Kings, healing ants at the squirter earns you 1hr healing speedups which would be very helpful on season during PVP. The more you heal, the more you get back — usually double of what was used after the tree is captured or when WoK ends at 0:00 UTC.

Matchmaking Period

The sign-up for Surreal Wetland was successful, and we are currently in the matchmaking period.

We can’t wait to see how matchmaking plays out with so many awesome new players on our team. It’s going to be fun!

Matchmaking Results

We are matched with a level VI difficulty event for the first time and are part of the Verdant Camp.

We’re so happy to have H2K and ASH as our allies this time! It’s especially exciting to reunite with H2K—we faced them during our first VJ, and they’re an incredible team that never backs down. Now, fighting alongside them feels amazing!

I spotted Weby from the Arts Team in ASH , and it genuinely made my day. His incredible talent never fails to inspire our staff team—his art brings a spark of creativity and passion that lifts us all. :dizzy:

On the Red Team we have MIB, HOT and LND —all three clans seem incredibly strong.

Honestly super excited for this event. Just looking forward to some good matches, seeing how things play out, and chilling with everyone. Should be a fun time all around - no stress, just good vibes.

Selection Period

(camp leader, protection time & homezone)

CAMP LEADER

This season, Eagnai from ASH will be leading our camp. We’re excited to see what we can achieve together under his guidance. Let’s make every match count!

PROTECTION TIME

Our camp, the Verdant Camp, has decided on a protection period of 08:00-16:00 UTC after internal discussions. Meanwhile, our opponents from the Fertile Camp chose 00:00-08:00 UTC for their protection period. This means we’ll have a solid 8-hour window for battles this event.

HOMEZONE

We, RoP, selected Old Fern Ridge as our home zone. ASH chose Emerald Domain, while H2K picked Verdant Woods.

From the Verdant Camp, HOT has chosen Hollow Hill, LND selected Solitary Grove, and MIB picked Scarlet Realm as their home zones.

Preparing for First Clash Area

The first week was all about preparing for our first battle with the opponents over the Clash Area, which is set to open in the coming week.

All clans were busy building and growing stronger, both for themselves and for the camp, by collecting buffs from buildings and increasing their honor to earn more seasonal soldier ants and fungi.

In our camp, we decided to secure as many important buffs as possible from nearby structures within our home zones to boost our members’ stats before the inner zone—the one shared among allies tunnels—opened.

Before the tunnels to the inner zone opened, we coordinated among ourselves to decide which buildings each of us should focus on capturing ahead of the clash. We also prioritized a few key buildings within our respective home zones that offered valuable buffs.

After the update, I must say that fighting infected ants has become much less hectic than before. I really appreciate the developers for continually doing their best to provide players with a great experience.

The Clash Area tunnels opened, and we RoP, along with ASH, decided to focus on the right Clash Area, where our camp has the buff, making it our top priority. H2K will focus on the left Clash Area, where the opponents hold the buff. Their main goal is to secure as many buffs as possible for the camp and, if possible, capture the Wonder located there.

MIB chose to build in the right Clash Area, just like us, where our camp has the buff. HOT and LND were building in the left Clash Area, where H2K is focusing.

All clans are fighting the infected ants and making their way toward the Wonder.

First Clash Fight

It’s finally time for some PvP after weeks of fighting infected ants, and everyone is really excited. From our observations, MIB stands out as the strongest clan on the opponents’ side.

In our Clash Area—the one on the right—so far, only MIB has built there. We, RoP and ASH, have planned to block MIB’s path to the Wonder and push them far away.

MIB was building to buildings on both the right and left sides to grab buffs. They later chose to advance toward the Wonder via the left path, intending to face ASH alone since we were on the right side. Seeing that ASH needed help, we RoP started building on the left side to support them. We pushed [b]MIB far from the Wonder’s path and reclaimed the buildings they had taken from ASH before we arrived.

It was decided that we, RoP, would take the Wonder in this clash. So, we captured it during the opponents’ protection time to save stamina for the upcoming fight.

The war here lasted for just under two days, after which MIB shifted their focus to grabbing more buffs from their inner zone and home zone—a very smart move.

On the other clash, H2K was doing an amazing job.

H2K fought both HOT and LND simultaneously in the opponents’ advantageous zone. They only lost when they ran out of stamina and ants, and the opponents brought in fresh, stronger players. H2K had a real chance to take the Wonder for at least the first reward, but unfortunately, they ran out of clay, and the opponents took it during our protection period. H2K fought against both clans nearly every day until the next Clash Area opened.

Later, we all focused on grabbing buffs from the inner zone and home zone while waiting for the second Clash Area to open.

Second Clash

The next Clash Area will open in a few days. Our camp initiated tower transfers to each other so that all of us are present in each Clash Area. The opponents have done the same.

On the left Clash Area, our camp holds the buff until the milestone ends, while the opponents are buffed on the right Clash Area. Our camp has decided to focus mainly on our Clash Area and secure all the buffs here as quickly as possible.

Since we, RoP, had excess clay, we also built on the right Clash Area where the opponents are buffed. We captured a few buildings close to us there but continued to focus primarily on our own Clash Area.

It was agreed that the Wonder here would be taken by H2K. Since we, RoP, were closer, we helped by reduce the supply to save time and resources . Meanwhile, ASH focused on grabbing buffs from the other buildings for the camp.

LND and MIB were advancing toward the buildings my clan captured in their advantageous clash area.

Since it was impossible to defend against two clans at different locations in their advantageous region simultaneously, we decided to focus on defending our building and tower from LND. With limited space and their ability to teleport freely, it was challenging, but we successfully defended our lair and towers and even managed to destroy one of their towers. However, as we slowly ran out of stamina, they eventually took the lair. After some intense skirmishes with them, we retreated to our Clash Area and continued building on other structures near the top tunnel, eventually securing the tunnels.

The buff on the clash areas ended and our opponents were ready to make a move into our clash area.

We decided to defend against MIB at the tunnel, while H2K faced HOT and LND near their tunnel on the Clash.

My clan fought MIB and successfully kept them completely out of the Clash Area. The tunnel changed hands multiple times—every time they took it, we’d fight back and reclaim it. They’d push on our tower, but we held strong until the tunnel’s protection ended, and then we took control again. That back-and-forth made the fight super exciting! :joy:
We spent the following days guarding the tunnel and our towers, while waiting for the Tree Area to open.

H2K was defending against HOT and LND in the first Clash Area.

They fought HOT and LND for a long time in the first Clash Area. When they were nearly drained, HOT tried to make a move through the tunnel leading to the second Clash Area that they were guarding. Despite being exhausted, they managed to block them and keep them out of our Clash Area.

So far, it’s 50-50; both camps are doing really well, and it’s hard to predict the winner.

The Land of Abundance opens next. We are really excited.

Tree Area

It is the final week of the event, which will determine the winners. So far, it has been a 50-50 contest.

H2K and ASH suggested that we all stick together on the left side of the Land of Abundance. Although RoP wanted to build on the right side to grab more buffs and have more space for war, we ultimately agreed to our allies’ suggestion to stay united.

H2K came up with a rough sketch of the path we would build, ensuring we had enough space to fight. However, things didn’t go as expected for our camp. ASH wasn’t too keen on the idea of staying on the left side and joining the war from just above where we and H2K planned to be. They devised a new strategy and built their way when the tunnels opened.
What’s done is done—we had no choice but to accept it and try to work together to avoid things going wrong.

Since ASH built along the right path to execute their plan of blocking the area near the tree first and then joining the fight above, H2K took the left path that was suggested to ASH, while we got positioned in the middle.

Our opponents were already very strong and had high activity, so things quickly backfired on us.
According to the way we all were positioned, ASH would be facing the opponents first. They were struggling with activity, so we, RoP, helped defend their tower against LND while they tried to destroy HOT’s tower. Unfortunately, they failed and, since they didn’t build the durability on their tower we defended back up, they lost it. This meant we had to face both LND and HOTnext.
Meanwhile, MIB was advancing towards us and H2K, and soon we were about to face all three clans simultaneously. H2K found it difficult to defend against MIB because it was their first encounter with them in the event. and MIB was a clan with many carrier mains which made it more difficult on them as H2K had mostly guard mains. Still, they never gave up and kept fighting hard.

With a positive mindset, even though things went really badly on the first day in the Land of Abundance, we regrouped and did our best to push back. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out—most of us in RoP and H2K had fought hard the previous day and were running low on ants, while ASH, struggling with low activity, couldn’t provide enough support. As a result, we were pushed further back, and the chance of winning slipped away.

We, RoP, had excess clay, and since the chance of winning was gone, we decided to build on the right side of the Land of Abundance to claim the buildings there. Meanwhile, HOT was making their way toward us.

For the last few days of the event, we chose to just enjoy the fight with HOT in the Land of Clash. We managed to protect our residence here till the end of the event. We had an amazing time battling and enjoying every moment.

Congratulations to the Verdant Camp on their victory! :sparkles: Although our camp didn’t win, we had a ton of fun and learned so much from the event.

Our camp was ranked on the top 3 among all blue camps on the current batch of Surreal Wetland, it made me really very happy seeing that cause we have come a long way on the game.

I would like to thank our allies for the time we spent together during the event. It was great fighting alongside you, and we truly appreciated your support and teamwork. Though things didn’t go exactly as we hoped this time, we remain hopeful and look forward to even better coordination and success together in the future.

I would also like to appreciate all our RoP members for their contributions and the sacrifices they made for the clan during the event — from fighting way past their bedtime to pushing on even when they were out of resources to heal. You all are amazing.

A big thank you as well to our incredible r4 team for all their help in organizing and planning stuffs on the event. Your dedication behind the scenes made a huge difference.

And of course, I’d like to express our deep appreciation for our leader, Diego, for everything he does for us. He always fights until the very end and never gives up. He leads by example, showing unmatched dedication, strength, and loyalty to the clan. No matter how tough the situation gets, Diego stays calm, focused, and ready to lift everyone’s spirits. His passion for RoP and his tireless efforts inspire us all to give our best. We are truly lucky to have a leader like him — someone who doesn’t just lead, but values and supports each member of the clan…

Thank you, Diego, for being the heart of RoP.

Jenn signing off, see you all on our next adventure…
