Mutated Jungle & the End of Marco Polo

I took a break this past season.
Oh—not from playing! I mean from storytelling. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
Why? Well
the season brought so many changes, I decided to just observe, adapt, and soak it all in.

But clearly, the devs aren’t done surprising us.
They’ve dropped a new event into the game: Mutated Jungle.
As the name suggests, it’s a wild evolution of the classic Jungle event—but with extra twists, stronger ants, and a whole lot more chaos. :leaf_fluttering_in_wind::dna::ant:

This time, I won’t sit quietly and let it pass.
It’s obvious now: every season brings a new challenge, and I plan to march alongside it—telling the stories of SKY alliance, my friends, and the madness we face together.

:memo: Registration Begins
 But We Haven’t Clicked Yet

Season registration is open, but we haven’t hit that shiny button yet.
Maybe the officers will decide to skip this one

But knowing the spirit of our team? I doubt it.
So I’ve already started my story—just in case. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

:compass: No More Marco Polo

This season marks a turning point for me.
One of my closest friends ( @Phoenix_1988 ) (PHX) has joined our alliance.
I’ve finally stopped wandering. No more Marco Polo gameplay—this is the first alliance I’ve stayed in for more than two seasons.

And honestly? It feels like this place was built for me.
The vibe, the people, the leadership—it all fits.
With high probability, this is my permanent nest. :house_with_garden::ant:

So get ready.
The new season is here.
The jungle is mutated.
And the stories are about to begin.

I’ll be back soon—with towers, tactics, and a few mushroom-powered surprises :mushroom::fire:
Stay tuned.

:ant: Season Kickoff – Four Days to Destiny :hourglass_not_done::fire:

The countdown has begun. Just four days left until we discover our rivals, see which alliances share our camp, and which ones will stand against us.

The new S5 ants look ridiculously powerful. Honestly, I hope they all end up in my nest this season. (Hey, what’s wrong with dreaming big? As we say: “Wishing is no fault of the young.”)

And rumor has it
a brand-new Shooter insect is about to be introduced in the coming days. :beetle::collision:
So yeah, I might need to loosen my pockets a little and stop being stingy. Maybe I’ll even spend a bit—because who can resist shiny new bugs?

  • In four days, the curtain rises: camps revealed, rivals named.
  • New ants, new insects, new chaos.
  • And me? I’ll be here, telling the story of SKY and our allies—every tower built, every mushroom eaten, every rally launched. :mushroom::fire:
The jungle is mutated, the ants are stronger, and the surprises keep coming.
    So buckle up.
    The saga continues.
And the stingers are already sharp. :ant::high_voltage:
No one’s resting. No one’s hesitating.
We’re all standing at the edge of the jungle, buzzing with anticipation.

:military_helmet: SKY Soldiers Ready for War

In this post, I’ll share a picture introducing some of my friends—the fearless Sky Soldiers. Every one of them is sharpening their ant stingers, waiting for the season to begin. :crossed_swords::ant:

The fog has lifted. The camps are set.
And now we know who we’ll be fighting alongside
and who we’ll be facing across the battlefield.
The matchups look intense.
The ants? Mutated and hungry. :dna::ant:
And me? I’m sharpening my stingers and warming up my rally fingers.
Let the season begin. :mushroom::crossed_swords:

On this World Hello Day, I want to extend my warmest greetings to everyone.“Hello” is often the very first word we learn when approaching a new language or culture. It is one of the rarest words that can be translated into every tongue with nothing more than a simple nod of the head. To me, it is the most sacred word across all dialects—a universal bridge of respect and connection. :globe_showing_europe_africa::handshake:

Harvest the fruit, claim the glory! :ant::crown:

Alright, back to our adventure on the island! :ant::desert_island:
We’ve started building towers and capturing wonders in our zone. This event is brand new, and it’s already shaking up all the strategies we thought we knew.

:hourglass_not_done: We’ve got 8 days before we can clash with the rival camp. Until then, it’s all about stacking buffs and preparing for the big fight.

Here’s what I’ve noticed so far:

  1. Early defenses vs post-T12

    • Before unlocking T12, initial stationed forces in nests, wonders, and tunnels feel tough.
  2. Fruit zones and rewards logic

    • You still get lesser rewards based on point thresholds, regardless of the outcome.
    • The important rewards—eggs—only drop if your camp scores more than the enemy. A draw means no eggs for either side. :egg:
    • In theory, you can secure eggs without direct fighting if the enemy fails to capture all of their locations while you capture all of yours—but this is unlikely when both camps have active, non-farm alliances.
  3. Tree of Abundance points

    • The Tree carries the same point value as other wonders. It’s not inherently more valuable than the rest. :deciduous_tree::classical_building:
  4. North clash specifics

    • Winning North clash grants you an extra wonder, but it’s identical in value to other wonders.
    • The clash is unique because both camps have campsites there—it’s a default fight zone. :snowflake::fire:
    • Destroying the wonder isn’t beneficial unless you can’t hold it; choosing to destroy suggests your camp is already struggling to maintain control.
    • Practically, winning North clash often indicates you’ve won the first clash zone of the season, since it’s the earliest shared campsite fight where the winner secures the wonder. :chequered_flag:

So yeah
speed :high_voltage: + endurance :shield: + activity :fire: are the three big challenges, all wrestling with raw power. The camp that finds the right strategy to balance all four—power included—will be the one to claim victory.

For now, we wait.
The storm of events is brewing, and I’m curious to see what surprises it will bring us next.

:hourglass_not_done: The Heartbeat of War :ant::fire:

Tick-tock, the clock beats in rhythm with the pulse of the battlefield.
The first clash is inevitable.
Both camps have chosen the southern path, making predictions nearly impossible. Tomorrow will be one of the most decisive days of this event.
Until now, the true strength of each camp has remained hidden. But tomorrow, many doubts will be shattered.
:castle: Towers rise in the south, lined up beside the tunnels.
:crossed_swords: Both sides are ready to collapse those tunnels and march into each other’s territory.
And my story? Tomorrow it enters a new phase.
The stage is set, the tension is rising, and the storm of battle is about to break.

:ant: Four Days of Madness – The First Clash Ends :crossed_swords::fire:

The first real showdown is over.
Four days of nonstop fighting. Sixteen hours a day. Yes, sixteen. My poor keyboard is begging for mercy. :joy::keyboard:

Every morning, the advantage was ours. By midday, we were pushing forward. But then
 lunchtime in Japan arrived. :bento_box::alarm_clock:
Suddenly, the battlefield turned into a sushi-powered storm. We had to endure insane pressure until things calmed down again. And then at 14 UTC? Boom. That’s when the rival camp’s prime time kicked in, and the tide flipped faster than an ant on a frying pan.

Capturing the first lair was brutal. But the three of us stood shoulder to shoulder and fought like maniacs. Honestly, I don’t know what would’ve happened if the enemy had focused on the southern tunnel. Our defense there was shaky. Maybe our strategy would’ve shifted, maybe not. Either way, they fought to the last second, reminding us: this was just round one. The next stage won’t be easy.

:compass: Lessons Learned

  • Both camps now know each other’s strengths and weaknesses.
  • With the southern wonders destroyed, phase one is over.
  • Everyone’s cooking up new strategies for phase two.

But the north? Oh boy, the north is different.
The northern wonder is split into three separate zones. Blocking the enemy there requires a whole new playbook. :open_book::cyclone:

:light_bulb: Our Edge

We’ve got high morale. That’s our weapon.
But hey, I’ve seen pride destroy teams before. So we need to remember: the first mistake could be the last mistake. Our leader knows it. And I’m sure their leader knows it too.

Three days from now, the final battle begins.
Right now, both camps are chilling, healing up with magic mushrooms :mushroom::sparkles:, and sharpening their ant mandibles for the next storm.

Soon, the war horn will sound.
And in the north, we’ll hear the crunch of ant jaws colliding. This time, it’s not just brute force—it’s a battle of strategists.

I stare at the map, trying to guess which path the enemy will take. And honestly? I can’t wait to find out.

:military_medal: Personal Note

Oh, and by the way
a few days ago, our leader promoted me to R4.
I’m happy, though I know plenty of others are more deserving. Still, it’s a chance to learn more and contribute more. Fingers crossed I don’t mess it up.

:ant: Final Stage – Day Three Madness :crossed_swords::fire:

The final stage has begun.
We’re now on the third day inside the ultimate battlefield. All the old buffs are gone, and every alliance has to rely on fresh ones. That means: build towers, push forward, and reach the wonders. :castle::sparkles:

Our plan? Transfer towers halfway toward the wonders in two zones, then strike the enemy camp simultaneously. Easy? Nope. Still tough as nails. But so far, things are going well—we broke through their lines, smashed their towers, and even snatched a level 7 lair right out of their claws. :ant::collision:

Of course, we know the Japanese prime-time hasn’t arrived yet. That’s when the real storm usually hits. Luckily, when they come online, only three hours of protection remain. Those are always the hardest hours for us, but hey—maybe fortune is on our side this time. :four_leaf_clover:

:handshake: Allies & Rivals

Today, our teamwork with allies was perfect. Three alliances moving as one, fully coordinated—it makes the fight twice as fun. I’m genuinely happy to have such strong partners.

But credit where it’s due: the rival camp fought brilliantly too. They’re close, dangerously close. At any moment, the tide could turn. Honestly, I have to thank them—they’ve made this one of the most unforgettable seasons I’ve ever played. Win or lose, the joy of battle is what keeps the fatigue away.

(And yes
I secretly thank ChatGPT too. It helps me finish my stuff faster so I can play more. But shhh —if it hears me, it’ll force me to buy a premium account. :joy:)

:ant: Ant R4 Adventures

Oh, and something funny happened. I’m now in the R4 team.
Though honestly, I doubt I’ll last long. Why? Because I’m basically drilling into the brains of the other officers with my “ridiculous” plans. I’m sure R5 already regrets promoting me.

Anyway, R5 has to sleep around 6–7 UTC, which is super late for him but perfect morning time for me. He asked me to watch over the team while he went to bed. So I raised my ant antennae, stood tall on two legs, and jumped into alliance chat like a responsible officer.

Ten minutes later
 he’s still awake.
Thirty minutes later
 still awake.
One hour later
 still awake.
Three hours later
 STILL awake.

Bro, weren’t you supposed to sleep so I could mess things up in peace? :joy: Go to bed already!

Finally, he passed out—probably fainted with the phone still in his hand. I think he literally saw both sunset and sunrise reflected on his screen today. Respect, brother. :sunrise::mobile_phone::sunrise_over_mountains:

:ant: The Northern Wonder Clash – A New Phase Begins :crossed_swords::tornado:

This morning, both camps lined up against the Northern Wonder, sending rallies like crazy to claim it. Our camp waited patiently until the wonder dropped to 50% before launching our own rallies.

Breath held. Hearts racing. It didn’t matter who dealt the most damage—what mattered was who landed the final blow.

:collision: Boom! SLF swooped in with minimal damage and snatched the wonder. Victory cries echoed across our camp. :tada:

The rival camp didn’t even wait for protection to end and try again. Strange choice. If it were us, we’d have kept pushing. Defending 3 vs 1 is impossible, but at least we’d have tried. Instead, they abandoned the north, didn’t defend their towers, and looked like they’d accepted defeat.

Good news? Our win was secure.
Bad news? The thrill of battle faded.

And just when I was ready to test my shiny new S5 shooter ants (yes, I got both of them—thanks, fairy of luck, keep going, I trust you to gift me all six :ant::wrapped_gift:)
 surprise.

:fire: The Twist

They weren’t done.
Instead of defending, they started destroying their own camp wonder. In three days, it will be gone. That was a clear message: they’re not defending any other wonder.

Immediately after, they began tower transfers near our main camp tunnel. That’s the sound of total war. :police_car_light:

They’re throwing everything into offense. And suddenly, the excitement is back.

:clapper_board: What’s Next?

The battle isn’t over. The ending can’t be predicted yet.
With this move, the story of this season enters a new phase.

The war horn is still echoing, towers are rising, and both camps are sharpening their mandibles for the next strike. :ant::crossed_swords:
