Introduction

Sizz and I met for the first time on the beta LI. However we didn’t really talk until I joined WFN for the second LI. After this we were on different server for a while, until the previous BL when I joined her in DSU, after this we eloped to 352.
Sizz is always ready to help with making schedules and organizing, meanwhile I focus more on planning towers and strategies, while also teaching her to plan towers.

The Chosen Few (TCF)

TCF Alliance was established in S352 a very quiet and peaceful server with very little population.

The requirements for Cross server convocation (CSC) were not met for at least 6 months.
It was only possible to open CSC thanks to some Mexican players from S321 created many farms in S352 which took about 2 months to get the hills to be ready (unlocking T8) so the alliance leader able to send a CSC invitation to invite more players into the alliance.

Ⓘⓝⓖⓔⓝ a.k.a Green Bean is the R5 of TCF. There are 70 hills in the alliance with big power difference and lots of low level hills and farms.

We decided to join TCF for a relaxing chill Barren (hopefully :3) and away from drama.

Matchmaking Details

The matchmaking could be slightly problematic for TCF. Our team consists of TCF, eMI and MAF. TCF is mostly Asian, while MAF and eMI are mostly Russian. This means that (for the benefit of the camp) our protection time should be 0-8 UTC.

The enemy camp consists of TWP, BEH and TLN. TWP seems to be mostly US based, while BEH seems to have a mix of US and Turkish players. TLN is very quiet, but their alliance name suggest they are from Latin America. This means they’ll likely pick 8-16 UTC as protection time.

After protection time was chosen, this indeed seemed to be the case. Our fight time will be 16-0 UTC, which is extremely detrimental to our Asian players. They will practically be locked out of fighting, except for maybe an hour or two if they get up very early or stay up very late.

But luckily Sizz and I are from Europe and can fight during this time and our Mexican friends should also have no problem with this time.

SELECTION PROCESS

Reason for choosing Green Base as initial base
Ulexi has the full map details of Green and Teal. However Teal has a lot of ferries in that map and it is more suitable for bigger alliance with more players. So we asked our camp allies if we can have that green base. Our R5 has doubt towards that base initially. He is worried that #368 TWP (strongest opponent ) choose the Pink area close to our base, then we have to fight in the north clash wonder with them.

PRE MATCH RAINFOREST ALLIANCE EXPEDITION

Coincidentally MAF were match against TWP in Alliance Expedition Rainforest Event. They were excited to fight against TWP, getting a taste of blood before entering Barren Land.

It´s Victory for MAF :partying_face: They said NatureBoy is a beast but the other players in TWP aren´t that strong. NatureBoy is probably the strongest player in our map.

BLUE CAMP LEADER

Alliance #515 eMI got most votes to be the leader of Blue Camp. We created a dedicated Discord Server for us and also a group chat in telegram to communicate efficiently. Each alliance leaders express their thoughts on the best protective for them. #408 MAF prefers 0 UTC to 8 UTC. eMI said that their most active hours is after 14 UTC. While #352 TCF prefers 16 UTC to 24 UTC and hoped our opponent will pick 8 UTC to 16 UTC.

Day 1 - Honor Guide

As usual on the first day of being on the season map, Green bean asks why his honor is lower than the rest. so I explained him how to snowball his honor best and decided to write a short guide here.

For F2p
1. upgrade your buildings effectively, meaning the best honor : resin ratio as seen here
2. make sure to get all possible resin from a day:

  • hunt 10 lizards
  • hunt 50 level 16+ insects for the achievement
  • buy the resin with season fruit from the season store

3. get as many and the highest soldier colonies as you can
4. get as many SXI soldiers as you can from:

  • soldier colonies (see 3)
  • enhance 6 different buildings to level 7 or higher
  • get at least 10k season soldiers (should be easy)
  • build 10 alliance towers (if you’re in a small, inactive or if your fellow members are okay with it)

    * participate in at least 3 forts
  • ask your alliance if you can defeat 1.5M season soldiers (let the soldiers reset before taking the fort so everyone can get rewards

Follow the f2p steps, but additionally the following things can be bought to increase your honor quicker:
1. the season development plan (allows you to increase troop tunnel quicker)
2. the season development plan special offer (only available after buying the previous), this allows you to raise your troop tunnel to a very high level the first day, providing you with a lot of honor

3. the Special season Supply (1400 resin every day)
4. the other resin pack in the store (2500 resin)

Tower Transfer

Tomorrow tower is available and campsite too. We asked our allies if we should transfer a tower at one of the tunnels or will they prefer to build from the campsite?

Note that it takes 24h for the tower to complete transfer when the process started, it can only be done in starting areas and has a limit of 1 per alliance.

By the end of the first week both camps have made smooth progress in their own initial base, capturing most of the buildings there.

BATTERIES

BATTERY(1)

Because of our protection time were were able to make use of clay batteries.These consist of towers under construction that will not finish, but will be demolished later. By making sure we are at maximum clay the at reset when the tunnels open, we will miss 16k of clay production. Without batteries this would mean that you only produce 32k clay that day. By demolishing 5 towers in outside our home zone (that did not finish construction) we are able to recover 4000 * 0.8 *5 = 16k clay which gave us extra towers the first day. However these towers are not free, they are borrowed from previous days.
The total loss is 16k clay + 0.2 × 4000×5 = 4000 clay for a total of 20k clay lost. So if you plan to make use of this tactic, make sure to only use it when you have nowhere “useful” to spent your clay.

Phase 1

TLN started building towards us and is 1 tower away from reaching us. But in the meantime MAF reached yellow on the other side of the map, and keeps them busy together with eMI.
It seems they called for TWP to help them since they are also building for the bottom clash now. Which leaves us with a good chance at succeeding in defending the wonder.

we managed to push back both TLN and TWP without much resistance, their main focus has been securing the bottom clash wonder, which MAF and eMI almost managed to surround before reset.

BEH captured the bottom clash wonder, and TWP arived to help keep it secure.
TCF took the top wonder while MAF took the Golden cactus.
Fighting today was the same… except less active because it’s gather day tomorrow.
eMI and MAF have been pushed away from the wonder now. but their goal; to distract the enemy seems sucessful

                              PHASE 1

Summary

In top clash TCF and TWP rushed towards the wonder.

Meanwhile MAF build towards a residence near their tunnel. We hopen this would make TLN and TWP go for MAF instead of us. This was however not the case.

In the bottom clash eMI rushed towards the wonder while TLN and BEH did the same.
At the top wonder TCF and TWP clashed, and fought for several days without much progress on both sides.

Meanwhile eMI was suffering heavy losses in bottom clash and unable to reach the wonder.
With their victory in the bottom clash TLN decided to help in top and managed to build 1 tower away from us.

eMI and TCF both called to MAF for help, with only being able to help in one place MAF decided on helping in bottom, and later this turned out to be the right call.

MAF and eMI together were able to push towards the southern wonder. Keeping TLN too busy to fight in top. We suspect they called to TWP for help, because TWP started to build in bottom clash.
Because of this TCF was able to push TWP and TLN away from the top. This went on for several days.
TCF slowly pushing TLN and TWP out of the top clash, while MAF and eMI distracted everyone in the bottom clash.
